About Granite Creek Copper

Granite Creek Copper is a Canadian exploration company focused on the acquisition and development of highly prospective brownfields assets in favorable North American mining jurisdictions. A notable project is the 176-square-kilometer Carmacks copper-gold-silver project in the Minto copper district of Canada’s Yukon Territory. This project is strategically located on trend with the high-grade Minto copper-gold mine, boasting excellent access to infrastructure, including nearby paved Yukon Highway 2 and grid power within 12 km12.

The company, a member of the Metallic Group of Companies, announced a preliminary economic assessment (“PEA”) in January 2023 based on the 2022 NI 43-101 mineral resource estimate for the Carmacks project. The project lies within the Traditional Territory of Little Salmon/Carmacks First Nation3.

In addition to its ongoing exploration and development activities, Granite Creek Copper has been active in financing and operational advancements. In June 2023, the company completed the final tranche of private placement financing, and in August 2023, it received preliminary metallurgical results demonstrating potential for significant additional copper recovery4.

Moreover, in November 2020, Granite Creek Copper completed its acquisition of Copper North Mining Corp, combining its Stu Cu-Au Project (now “Carmacks North”) with the Carmacks Cu-Au-Ag project. This acquisition consolidated the southern half of the productive and highly prospective Minto Copper Belt in Canada’s Yukon Territory5.

Granite Creek Copper is dedicated to advancing its projects with a focus on sustainable practices and responsible resource development, as evidenced by their strategic project locations and their commitment to infrastructure access and community engagement6.
